Reimagining the MBA Experience
THE ALU SCHOOL OF BUSINESS MBA PROGRAMME IS OUR FLAGSHIP ACCREDITED POSTGRADUATE DEGREE IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION. IT IS A 20-MONTH TRANSFORMATIVE MBA PROGRAMME FOR AFRICA’S BUSINESS LEADERS
ALUSB offers the first pan-African MBA programme of its kind. Akin to an executive MBA, this programme is designed for ambitious, working professionals who are immersed in dynamic economies across Africa. This world-class, 20-month, part-time MBA programme blends in-classroom ‘’intensive’’ sessions with interactive, online learning. Our blended learning model allows you to fit your part-time studies around your work schedule, enabling you to apply and practice new tools, frameworks and insights on the job.
You will join your peers six times during the programme, for week-long ‘’intensive” sessions, where you will learn directly from an ‘all-star’ cast of African business leaders. Our vision is to serve as a catalyst for prosperity in Africa by developing world-class African executives and entrepreneurs who will make this century the African Century.

EARNING AN MBA AT OUR BUSINESS SCHOOL IS…
Doing business in Africa is all about relationships. As the first pan-African MBA programme in the world, and similar to an executive MBA in class profile, ALUSB MBAs access a powerful network of top African business titans. This MBA programme is a lifelong investment in pan-African ‘relationship capital’ that can be deployed throughout your career.
We believe the best way to learn leadership is through practice, not theory. As such, students remain employed throughout their part-time MBA studies. They are able to apply learning and new skills immediately on the job. Through the MBA leadership development programme, candidates see immediate growth in their leadership ability.
The ALUSB MBA costs USD $30,000 over a 20-month period (not including flights and accommodation for in-person sessions). Compared to on average $180,000 for an MBA at a typical top-10 business school in the US, the ALUSB MBA is 83% more affordable, yet offers the flexibility of part-time and online elements, as well as a pan-African focus. Because candidates do not leave their employment, they do not lose income. As one of the best business schools on the continent, ALUSB makes world-class business education accessible to African business leaders.
